In addition in no way are we stating by using such software you will become more or less successful. This is software and like any tools it is up to you to decide how to apply them.
From time to time we will update this page when we find programs worth mentioning.
- Nvu - a web page creator and editing program that's as easy to use as a word processor like Microsoft word.
- OpenOffice.org - an office program that replaces Microsoft Office. This program contains a word processor (like Word), spreadsheets (like Excel), presentation (like Powerpoint), web page creator and a whole lot more. It is also able to open most Microsoft Office documents and even save changes to them. Therefore someone can send you a Word document which you may open in OpenOffice.org, edit, save back to Word format and e-mail back to your contact.
- Gimp - an image editor similar to Adobe Photoshop, but not as powerful. However for the average user this program is very strong and provides advanced imaging editing features.
- Irfanview - an image viewing program that we consider the best out there. This program allows you to view just about any image type out there by supporting over 30 image formats!
